Today you have the choice to join on either the full day Delphi Tour or full day Argolis Tour.
Delphi - Depart on drive through the fertile plain of Boeotia, crossing towns of Thebes connected with tragedy of King Oedipus Levadia and Arachova. In Delphi visit the ruins of the Sanctuary of Apollo Pythios. Visit the Treasury of the Athenians, the Temple of Apollo and Museum containing such masterpieces of Ancient Greek sculpture as the bronze Charioteer and the athlete Aghias.
Argolis- Leave by the coastal road along the Saronic Gulf to the Corinth Canal. Drive to Mycenae and visit the Lion’s Gate, the Cyclopean Walls, and the Royal Tombs etc. Depart for Nauplion the picturesque town nestling at the foot of a cliff crowned by the mighty ramparts of the Palamidi Fortress. Afternoon, leave for Epidauros to visit the theatre famous for its astonishing acoustics. Overnight in Athens.
Transfer to Piraeus for embarkation on the cruise boat. Then sail for the island of Hydra where you have time for a stroll, shopping or swimming. Then sail for Poros, the smallest of the three islands, separated from the Peloponnese by a narrow strait and offering a most enchanting view of Poros Town. Your time at leisure in Poros will be about 60 minutes. Lunch will be served during the voyage. On board again and after a two hour trip arrive to the last port of call, the island of Aegina. Here you once again have some free time at leisure to stroll around or swim weather permitting. Optional excursion, by bus, to the fine preserved Temple of Afea Athena. Embarkation for the voyage of return. Overnight in Athens.
Breakfast at hotel then join on one of the following regular group excursions and visit Acropolis, New Acropolis Museum and panoramic drive through city center. After the morning tour a little free time before transfer to the Airport for direct flight to Cairo. Overnight in Cairo.
Breakfast then meet with your tour guide and begin the sightseeing tour with a visit to Memphis, the ancient capital of Egypt dating from 3100 BC which contains the beautiful representation of King Ramsis II through his colossal statue. Then proceed on to Sakkara where you will visit the world famous Step Pyramid of King Zoser, the oldest known of Egypt's 107 Pyramids. At the Pyramids area, visit the three Pyramids built for Pharaohs Cheops, Chephren and Mycerinus on the Giza Plateau and the mysterious Sphinx. Overnight in Cairo.
Breakfast and again meet with your guide to depart on to visit the Egyptian Museum, the Citadel of Saladin along with Old Cairo area where you find a mixture between the Islamic and Christian Monuments such as Abu Serga Church, Al Mo'allaqa Church or the Hanging Church which are dated back to the beginning of the 5th Century AD and built in the basilica style. The day also includes a visit to the famous Khan El-Khalily Bazaar. Overnight in Cairo.
